FieldAgent Web - Notifications

FieldAgent Notifications provide insight into key field-level events, such as extreme weather conditions, to identify where to focus scouting activities. 

FieldAgent Notifications are only sent for fields that have an active crop season. Crop seasons can be created manually in FieldAgent on the Web. 

Types Of Notifications

FieldAgent Notifications are available in three different categories (Growth Stage, Weather, and Disease). See the full list of what's available below. 
  1. Emergence: Let you know up to one week ahead of when you are likely to see corn emerge on a given field.
  2. Stand Count: Let you know up to one week ahead of when you are likely to have corn reach the V2 growth stage on a given field.
  3. V6/V10: Help correctly time nutrient applications and scouting activities. 
  4. Excess Rain: Leverages precipitation data to let you know when your field has received over 2 inches of rainfall within the past 24 hours.
  5. Strong Wind: Notify you when your field experiences strong winds in excess of 50 mph.
  6. Frost/Freeze: Let you know up to 48 hours before your field is likely to experience frost conditions or freezing temperatures.
  7. Seasonal Characteristics: Leverage historic data to compare the current season against previous years.
  8. Hail: Notify you after a significant hail event. 
  9. Disease: Let you know when conditions are optimal for infection of specific pathogens. 

How to Turn On/Off Notifications

To turn off/on disease, weather, growth stage, and other notifications within FieldAgent Web:

1.       Log into your account at https://fieldagent.sentera.com/.

2.       Click the Account Tab on the left

3.       Uncheck the items from the Notification Preferences area, as shown below.


 4.      Check the items from in the Notifications to turn them back on during the next planting season.
