Sentera PHX™ FAQs - How far do I tighten propeller screws on PHX?

The PHX Spinner Assembly screws are not meant to be tightened all of the way down to “tight.”

 

The screws should be loose enough such that the propellers should be able to fold upon landing to avoid propeller damage.

 

They should not be so loose that the screw may fall out of assembly while in flight, but at a happy medium called “light friction.”

 

To further clarify, the screws are tight enough to allow the propellers to fold out without falling down, but loose enough that they can fold in when the aircraft touches down on the ground.

 

 WARNING: Tightening the propeller screws all of the way can result in vibration issues and blurry imagery.
